Forum Notifications
You can control the email notifications you receive in regards to the Forum by visiting the settings tab in your member menu.
You can control whether you get emails for: likes or reactions, comments or replies, and new posts. Plus you can choose if you want to be emailed a weekly summary, daily summary, or no summary for forum activity.
Group Portal Notifications
You can control the amount of notifications you receive in regards to your group portals by taking the following steps:
Visit the group portal you wish to control notifications for
Once you're in the group, click the three vertical dot menu button for more options in the top of the page
Click notification settings
You may choose between website, email, and mobile app notification options to select different levels of notifications you would like to receive in each place, including: posts, comments, reactions, group updates, and new members
Closed Captions in Discord
If you need closed captions on desktop, please use Discord with the site linked here also pulled up on your screen or if you are on Google Chrome there is a live captioner extension on Chrome.
To add captions on mobile:
Android:
Click a volume button on the side of your phone that controls phone volume
Click the menu to open up all controls phone, call, ringtone, etc volume
Still testing this out, but so far it seems that this is the best option to me for providing captions through Discord when using Discord in the browser https://maestra.ai/tools/web-captioner/free/
Public profiles:
Member profiles are visible to other site members
Members can follow and be followed by other site members
Members can post, leave comments, and react to posts and activity
Private profiles:
You can also go to the settings tab in your member menu to adjust email notifications for group portals.
