About the event

Over 140 years ago, Alexander Graham Bell (AGB) spoke for 3 days to ensure that sign language was banned during the Milan Conference of 1880. Then in 1883 he published a memoir not only studying genetic Deafness, but also arguing methods of eliminating Deaf people entirely. This chain of events set into motion the Dark Legal Ages of Deaf representation.

Alexander Graham Bell: an Innovative Genius or a Sinister Force Behind Deaf Oppression?

*** This is my first live ever on YouTube. If there are any issues with me going live when I try to, I will film and upload a video to YouTube as a premiere on this ASAP. I think everything will go fine. I am using OBS. I have gone live on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram before. Feel free to send me advice. ***

Dramatic reading, critique, and commentary on AGB's "Memoir Upon the Formation of a Deaf Variety of the Human Race"

The goal of this live is to go over the entire book AGB wrote. If time allows I will also do further reaction to and explanation of content about AGB I have already published. If I run out of time, I will schedule additional lives to continue reading the memoir and/or review previous AGB commentary.
